Meet Brewster

As many of you know, Zeke, our shop dog passed away in March. He is very much missed. Brewster came into our lives Memorial Day. He is such a sweetie but oh, so shy. He comes to the shop most days but you probably wouldn't know it since he spends so much time under my desk! He is a beautiful Lab/Great Dane mix. Hopefully, he will poke his head out and say hello next time you all are in.

Fall is here

Here is a photo from the May issue that I love. I think the white palette and all those ruffles are so romantic. I like the empty frame with something out of the ordinary in it. And isn't that tufted headboard wonderful! Hmmmmmm, maybe I need to redo my bedroom. Relax, Mr. Willow- I am not really thinking it. The kitchen-yes,the bedroom- no.

My assistant, Zak, has been helping me lately

and I can't tell if he is helping me or slowing me down. He is so darn cute that I am easily distracted from the task at hand. Although he is rather easy to talk to and agrees with whatever I say. Guess I have no complaints!

My neighbors made this card for me. Naomi (age 7) and Alyssa (age 5) made this card for me. They would come in almost everyday and visit Zeke. He will be missed.

Capes for Courage

We will be sewing Capes for Courage on Saturday, March 10th from 10-1. These capes are given to children who are receiving treatment for cancer and other life threatening illnesses. We will be spending the morning cutting, ironing, and sewing these litle capes. Please join us in this worthwhile project.

We would also welcome fun, juvenile cotton fabric (1 yard makes 3 children and l infant capes), velcro, and monetary donations. If possible, please have fabric prewashed.

Willow Creek is donating 20% of all sales that morning to Capes for Courage.
