Bet you can't eat just one!

Yum! Glittered Grapes! What a refreshing summer dessert! And talk about easy to make. Just shake wet grapes in a baggie of jello mix and put in the frig until cold. I used red grapes and black cherry jello mix here but you can have fun choosing your own combo of grapes and jello flavors.

McCall's candles are the best!

Their new summer fragrance is Key Lime Pie. It is yummy! I think it has edged out Ginger Peach and Raspberry Lemonade to become my new fav.

My cash wrap

I know, I know. You are wondering why she put a couple of pics of her cash wrap. Well, I'll tell you. Someone wanted to see what our cash wrap area looks like and I don't know how to email photos. So now you not only know what our check out is like but that I am also technically challenged.

What a clever idea!

Does any one listen to John Tesch on the radio? He says you should never put your purse on the floor which I know I am guilty off. He says the bottom of your purse has more germs then you can shake a stick at (well, maybe not in those exact words but you get the idea). Anyway, purse holders are really growing in popularity. You just open it up, hang it on the table at the restaurant and your purse hangs under the table off the floor and out of the way.
We have several styles. Some have mirrors on the back and others are key chains. Somebody was sure thinking when they thought this up.

Girl's Night Out was a lot of fun!

So, how many Jolly Ranchers do you think are in this jar? Congrats to Jamie Dee who had the closest guess of 277. There were actually 282!
MMMM. These were so good. Mango and Avocado on crostini. Whisk together 2 tabls. lime juice and 1 tabls. olive oil. Gentle fold in 2 chopped mangos and 1 chopped avocado. To prepare the crostini, just slice a baguette into quarter inch slices, brush with olive oil and bake until brown. Top each crostini with a teaspoon of mango/avocado mixture and enjoy.

These little cuties are pickle wraps. Spread cream cheese on a slice of deli ham, wrap around a whole dill pickle or pickle spear, chill and slice. Talk about easy.

Dolls, dolls, and more dolls!

My neighbor in Scottsdale Village is closing her shop. She is moving all her dolls and their accessories to a room in my shop. Welcome, Dee from My Favorite Things.
Those Barbies sure bring back childhood memories! Doll collectors are passionate about their dolls and love to share their knowledge. I am learning a lot.

Where has the time gone?

Mr. Willow and I have been gallavanting around New England the past ten days. What a wonderful trip we had! I am telling you we live in a beautiful country. We flew out to New Jersey for my nephew's wedding.
Speaking of Mr. Willow, there he is in Time's Square!
No need to tell you where we are here.
I just had to show a pic of the bride and groom.

This was inside the church at Westpoint. I just loved how all the prayer books were lined up just so.

I really enjoyed the rural parts of our trip. It is soooo green there.

Happy Birthday to my baby girl!

Happy birthday to my first born. How is it that she is 35 years old today when that is how old I am (in my dreams)! The years have flown by. I am so proud of the woman she has become. She is a strong, confident, kind, loving person that I am so blessed to have in my life. I love you, peanut!
