What a gorgeous fall day

Took a pic of these fellas on a motorcycle ride this weekend. They live on the reservation about 10 minutes from my house. I love driving by and seeing them.

Tokyo Milk Dark has arrived.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Tokyo Milk Dark. We have the Fate and Fortune collection. There are 8 fragrances of perfume, lotion and lip elixir. And men love it for themselves, too. Arsenic, Bulletproof and Excess are a favorite for them. I didn't know but layering fragrances are popular. One gal I know layers La Vie La Mort and Tainted Love. I think my fav is Everything and Nothing for the lotion and Salted Caramel for the lip elixir. Yum!!!

The evenings are cooling off

Time to do some fall cooking. Here is a recipe for Slow Cooker Autumn Stew 2 butternut squash, peeled and diced 4 potatoes, peeled and quartered 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and quartered 2 c. buttermilk 14 oz can beef broth 1/8 t. ground cloves 1/2 t cinnamon 28oz can turkey, drained 1/2 t sage 1 t dried parsley 1/4 c. cornstarch Arrange squash and potatoes in slow cooker, add buttermilk and broth, sprinkle cloves and cinnamon. Add turkey, sage and parsley. Cover and cook on high for 5 hours or until potatoes are tender. Whisk in cornstarch and cook until sauce thickens. Serves 8-10.

Pamper yourself with Pre de Provence Bubble Bath

m MMMMMMMM- wonderful. How nice it is to take time out for a nice long soak in the tub. We have Sweet Pea, Lavender Rosemary, Verbena Sage (my fav) and Vanilla Sandalwood.

My grandaughter just lost a tooth

and it reminded me of our cute little tooth fairy boxes. They are adorable!

I love 'old finds'

They are those one of a kind pieces that just add so much character to a home. Even better when it belonged to a family member. I have many of my grandmother's things that I treasure so much. At the shop, we have lots of those one of a kind treasures (not my grandmother's, of course) that can make your rooms unique. Come on in and see.

I love scented soaps

They make an ordinary experience special. We have soaps from Italy, Canada, France, and probably a half dozen from the USA, including a couple from here in New Mexico. Come on in and get a few bars- pamper yourself!

Sunbrellas

OK, they really are umbrellas but we get so little rain here in New Mexico and so much sun that I thought this would be a better name for them. They are gorgeous. We have cats and dogs, parrots, Monet water lilies, hummingbirds, dragonflies,and a purple pansy. The last three are shown in the pic. I sure wish I had one of these when I was sitting in the hot sun during a baseball or soccor game.
